Kale Planter
This planter was hand built from a slab of stoneware. The clay was rolled out, impressed with real kale leaves, and impression cut out and laid over balloons to achieve the correct curve. Once firmed up the pieces were joined. After bisque firing, the plater was painted with thin yellow underglaze to highlight the veins, then the yellow was wiped back and the surface was sponged green.
